Don't worry about drop d. Use the third string (D) throughout the song.

i play this song in DADGAD tunning and instead of playing the notes on the A string i play them on the G string. just move up 2 frets to get the right notes. so on the A it is the 5th fret, on the G it would be the 7th. 7th on the D would be 9th on the G. 9th on the A would be 11th on the G and 10th on the D would be 12th on the G. let all the strings ring when you strum. so it has a real low deep base sound to it. sounds really good on an eletric guitar with some delay effects on it and such. or just as good with an acuostic. play around with it. happy worshiping! God Bless!
