entire song follows a two-beat pattern of:

C#m   B   A

To pick it like he does play the chords in this form:
C#m -042400
B   -024400
A   -002400

The best way is to leave your fourth finger on the G string and just pick 

around. There is the ocassional hammer on the 4th fret D string too.
