200200 D/F#
*z means that you put your finger over the string that
the partial capo is on. In this case you putyour finger
on the second fret E string.
Verse:
D A Bm
G Em
D A Bm
G Em
Chorus:
Em D/F# G D/F# Em
(3x)
In response to curt-the reason the chords dont sound right when you are playing them is because the song uses a patial capo not a full capo and that is how you are to play the chords. partial capos are a fun way to play songs but require great talent in order to re-learn some chords. the F#m in the chorus is noted for the tab with the patial capo but is played as a D/F#m because the bass player or the bass hand of the piano is the main chord player. so you need not worry about the sound of the chords but have a look at the tab above this note for some help-God bless!
