Verse 1:
Riff 1
It's hard to say all I want to say to you
Riff 2
I guess it's now or never
Riff 1
I spent one year away trying to change a day
Riff 2
But the past cannot be chosen
A A2 C#m A A2
I've seen days turn into weeks
            C#m
I could last a little longer
A A2 C#m A
I know you can hear the anguish in me.... uh-huh......

e----4----2--0------4----2--0----------
b-----------------2-----------------2--

Chorus:
C#m A
I want to know, I want to know
E B C#m
I need you now
                        A
I need to feel, I need to feel yeah
E B C#m
I want you around
                      A
I want to cry, I want to cry
E B C#m
 Come touch me now
  A E B
I know, I know for the first time
C#m A E B
I know your love for the first time

(repeat intro)

Verse 2:
      C#m C#m/B A C#m
It's hard to say why some things don't ever hurt
                               C#m/B A
But other wounds just grow deeper
C#m C#m/B A C#m
Why could I not die yet others fade away
                       C#m/B A
Still I live to keep on breathing
A A2 C#m A A2
I need peace to wipe away these tears
        C#m
To revive in me a new joy
A A2 C#m A
Only you can bring the healing in me right now

note: good luck on figuring this out! there are so many parts going on at
the same time, between solos and chords, so i couldn't figure out some of
the chords (hence the ???? marks) so if anyone can figure it out, along with
