You can do this tuned either a step down with the capo on the
first fret, or half a step down with no capo. I choose to do
it by tuning a step down with the capo since it's easier to get
the right notes that way (unless you have perfect pitch hearing).
The basic part of the intro is hammering on the D chord by picking
up and placing back down your finger on the high E string.
D G
When I needed love, when I needed peace
A
When I needed understanding
D
I found You there
When I needed hope, when I needed strength
When I needed someone who cares
Lord, I found You there
G A D
Lord, You made me laugh, even when I felt like cryin'
G A D
Lord, You made me sing, even when my heart was achin'
When I needed love, when I needed peace
When I needed understanding
Lord, I found You there
When I needed hope, when I needed grace
When I needed one more chance
Lord, I found You there
G A D
Lord, You made me laugh, even when I felt like cryin'
G A D A D
Lord, You made me sing, even when my heart was achin' (achin' yeah yeah)
G A D
Lord, You let me hide in You when the sky was ragin'
G A D
I know the sun always shines after the rain
So now I sing to You...
I'll find You there (yes I know it's true)
I'll find You there (because I believe in You)
I'll find You there
I'll find You there, Lord
This is a beautiful praise song by the kry. It can be sung for praise
by splitting groups up and having echos like so:
When I needed love (When I needed love)
When I needed peace (When I needed peace)
When I needed understanding
(When I needed understanding)
I found You there (I found You there)
that's about the gist of it. any questions? email me.
