Song: Jury Duty

This solo is based off of the B minor pentatonic scale. You might
have to listen to the CD to get the timing right. If you know your
music theory, you should really have no problem. Email me if you
have any questions.

Peace,

Josh

Reference:

b = bend - Bend the guitar string using your index, middle, ring,
or pinkie finger. Use which ever feels the most
comfortable. (On this particular solo, though, I found
that it is relatively easy to use your ring finger)

p = pull off - This is basically what it suggests...pull your
finger off of the string to. In doing so, the
               desired tone will automatically sound.

pb = pre-bend - Bend the string to the fret without play the note
first. Then, bend the note down to the desired tone.

ph = pinch harmonic - This can be a difficult technique to perform.
First, you must have a lot of distortion and
gain. Then, grip your pick as close to the
tip as you can leaving about 1.5 mm or 2 mm
of it. Then as you pluck the string, your
                      thumb should lightly touch the guitar string;
when this happens, simultaneous pull your
pick away. Depending on where you pluck the
string (i.e. near the bridge, or close to the
fret board) determines the pitch of the
                      harmonic.

v = vibrato - shake the string rapidly producing a "vibrating"
              effect on the note.
