TO THE EDITORS: I havent found a tab yet for this song that is accurate and
there are quite a few on this site alone. I tabbed this one out and although it may not be perfect, I think it's about as close to
the real thing as possible.

From The Inside Out
Hillsong United
Lead Guitar Intro & Solo

INTRO:
This riff is easier if you 1/2 bar the bottom 3 strings at 12 fret. There are two important keys to this
section. First is to let as many notes ring out as long as they can before you have to play something
else on that string. Second is that if you want this section to sound just like the recording, it is about
37x easier if you have a delay pedal.

The solo is kind of broken up into 4 different sections and I have separated them here so you can kind
of get an idea how they segue into each other. It is very important that this solo is played with a pick.
If you try and play this with fingerpicking, I guaruntee it will sound terrible compared to the recording.
One important thing with this solo because Ive seen a lot of tabs for this that have way too many
notes. As you can hear, the guitar doing this solo is drenched with distortion and a little delay and so
many of the notes that you hear are natural harmonic tones brought out by the distortion and are NOT
notes that are actually played. Try it out clean and then try it going through some kind of distortion or
overdrive pedal with a little delay and you'll see what I mean. One last note, you might have noticed
that I put in some ~ characters. That means to wiggle the string and make it squeal a little.

I actually found one mistake in my own tab here. In the third section of the solo, after it drops to the 12/10 chord on each line, it goes back to the 13/12 for one 8th note before doing a slide up to the 17/15.

Also, the very last note of the solo, which is the 19th fret on the E string, has a natural harmonic so it will ring out that note if you play it right.
