As played by Wes and Kevin from Rush of Fools.

Capo 2 (Capo second fret)

[Intro]
(Go straight into song or play muted strum)

[Verse 1]

     C C* Am G/B
*'** **** **** ******, *** **** * ** *****

C9 G/B Am G
******** ** *** ****, ******* ***'** *** ** **** **

F G
** ***** ** * ******** ***** **

     C F
**** ********** *** ******* ** *** *'** **** ***** ** **

[Chorus]

     G C Am
**** ** ****** **** ** **

     F G
**** **** *'** ******

         C Am
***** ** **** ** *** *****

      F G
** *********** *** *****

       C Am
* **** ***, **** **** ****

        F G
* ***'* ** **** ******

           C Am F
***'** *** **** *** *** *** ****

G C Am F G
**** *'** ******

[Verse 2]
(Same chords as verse 1)

[Chorus]
(At the end do not play last 4 chords but go straight into the bridge)

[Bridge]

Em F Em
**** ***** **** **** ** **** **

              F G (strum G once)
*** ********* *** **** ***

[Chorus]

[Ending]
(Keep playing C Am F G and end on C)

[Chords]
Here's how Rush of Fools plays 'em:

C - 032013 (First C of verses only)
C* - 020013(This is a walk down played only after first C in verses)
C - 32010 (All other)
C9 - 032033
G/B- 020033
G - 320033
F - 033210
Am - 002210
Em - 022000

There you go! The G's in the chorus aren't placed correctly but that's
where I play them and it sounds good. For the recorded version they
play them a little later, just listen to the recording.
For the strum pattern, again, refer to the recording,
it's quite easy once you get the hang of it.

God Bless!

Very well done. Sounds great. This song also sounds extremely good in the key of Dmaj...Great job!

Thanks for the comment tmangtrplayer. This is actually in the key of Dmaj since it is capoed on the second fret. I usually play it in Cmaj (no capo) because my voice isn't that high.

you dont happen to no this song in just tabs? cuz thats how ive been taught to play. -thanx if u can give me a place to go for it

Here's how I play it. I think throwing in a C/G sounds good. But maybe that's just me.

V1/V2:
C C/G Am G/B
C C/G Am G/B
F G/B
C C/G F

Chorus:
C Am F G/B
(4x)

Bridge:
Em F
Em F G/B
