I have a change to make to my own tab above. I'm almost 100% sure this is how you play it:

Intro II/Verse

Guitar I

G-------------------------
D--2--2-----2--2---9----
A--2--2-----2--2---9---
E------------------7----

Guitar II

G------------------11----
D---------9--------9-----
A---------7-----------------
E----------------------------

I think the bass plays the E in the intro that you're suggesting Guitar two plays. At least, that's how they play it on the Live in San Diego DVD.

You might be right. I've never seen the dvd. I jsut played it this way with my friend who plays guitar and it sounded right. But I could be wrong. It just sounds a bit more overdrive guitar sounding to me than bass distortion sounding. But again, i could most definitly be wrong.

I can also hear the bass thought in the album recorded track. So it could possibly have both the gutiar play that and the bass play it. To me it sounds like the bass is playing undistorted, normal bass along with the guitar playing with an overdrive or distortion sound.
