Artist: Superchic[k]
Song: Suddenly
Album: Beauty From Pain
Tuning: Standard

Alright, this will be my first online tab that is not Thousand Foot Krutch. I
just realized how good this song is and felt like we needed a proper tab for
it. I also realized how freakin' easy this song really is. The song uses two
guitars, Rhythm Guitar and Lead Guitar.

I've tried to synchronize the Lead with the Rhythm in the choruses, but it
might look a little strange, since there are Lead Guitar notes 10 fretted or
higher which messes up the tab.

Like jesuschic said, a lot is "mostly sound effects and d.j. noise" apart from
the chorus, but if you listen carefully you can hear some soft guitar in the
background at some places. So I'm tabbing everything.

/ = Slide up, slide between chords or slide into
\ = Slide down, slide between chords or slide out from
P.M. or ... = Palm Muting
x = Scratching, Heavy muting by fret hand.

No guitar in intro

G|-------------------|
D|-------------------|
A|--/9-7-6-7-6-------| (The slide down is very soft and is optional)

Then at the Lead Guitar's final note, the Rhythm Guitar comes in.

It's the bass guitar that does the cool slide thing before second chorus, not
any guitar.

There you go! Listen to the lyrics to this song, they are very good. Please
tell me if you find any mistakes, even if it's the smallest thing. So... Here
is where I usually say "TFK ROCKS!!!", but I guess this time I'll have to say
SUPERCHIC[K] ROCKS TOO!!!
God Bless,
Daniel

Two corrections for my tab.

The Rhythm Guitar uses this strumming in all the choruses:

G|----------4444xxxx6666xxxx9999xxxx--------|
D|--7777xxxx4444xxxx6666xxxx9999xxxx7777xxxx|
A|--7777xxxx2222xxxx4444xxxx7777xxxx7777xxxx|
E|--5555xxxx------------------------5555xxxx|
and so on...

The acoustic/clean electric part has this rhythm:
G|-----------------|
D|-----------------|
A|--/9-7-67-6------|
E|------------79\--|

So both these mistakes were small strumming mistakes, but I wanted to make it as good as possible. You can play the chorus as my original tab if you want to, but this correction shows the real way.

Hehe, they are a pretty good band. They play a pretty nice rock style, but its nowhere near metal or TFK stuff. If you're longing for heavy stuff that is.

I like Superchic[k]. The funny thing about them is that they call themselves Superchic[k] when there are 2 girls and 4 guys in the band. I think it's fun with girls also doing great rock stuff, but I wouldn't wanna be a guy in a band called Superchic[k] =P lol They are a good band, pretty good album. Suddenly and Bowling Ball are probably the best songs.

tl_guitarnut - 2006-05-17

Yeah I've seen them in concert twice and their energy never ceases to amaze me

musicfreak5428 - 2006-05-25

Nice job Dani! lol, i love this band...and Yes, i especially like Bowling Ball, wanna try tabbing it sometime? :)

Dani_Boy - 2006-06-03

Hi there musicfreak5428! Kinda fun that I actually know your real name... ;) Yeah, I could try tabbing bowling ball sometime. Would be a pleasure.

tl_guitarnut - 2006-06-26

"Bowling ball" is cool, I also like "Pure" (don't know if thats the right title) I might try to tab it out some time.

Dani_Boy - 2006-07-04

Sure, that'd be cool :)

Only4givenOnce! - 2007-03-19

Hey I can tab out Bowling Ball its' in Dropped C#, I started playing it in
Dropped D, but then I figured out that its' actually in Dropped C#, some play it in standard, but if you want 2 play the solo then use a different tuning that standard. I'm working on Stand Up (Mob Action Remix) with a freind, let me know if you want it!

pz out Mark Stephens Jr., aka, Only4givenOnce, or O4O.
