ya thats the way i play it...and it really does sound better
-the othere way has that '12' on the high E string and it just doesent sound right.
Nice work god bless
i don't understand the solo part. the second half...where are the I's are...From what i'm hearing, it sounds like he's picking something then going really high on the fret and strumming..HELP MEEE!!!
The chords here aren't exactly accurate. I play in school chapel band And have the sheet music (actually, I have access to all of Hillsongs sheet music - Its all in the Library!) For Verse one its
F C G x3
Then it goes into the Everlasting bit
Am, F C G x2
Then back into intro then same chords for verse two. Chorus one is
F C Am G
F Am G Dm
Then Verse two Then Back to Chorus one, followed by chorus 2 (Everlasting)
Am F C G x2
C F B Am
F G F G
Then is the Guitar Solo (instrumental)
Chords for tha solo are:
F C Am G
F Am G Dm
Then Chorus 1 followed by chorus 2 with last line repeated twice (F G) song finishes on F
that sounds correct 2 me without any mistakes. some of u are making it harder by stretching out ur pinky and some of it isnt correct. but im pretty sure this is correct. well i gotta go eat so ill talk 2 u cool cats later. god bless.
ADIOS!
The first one is the original one.. thats how michael guy chrislett plays it. and yes he and marty sampson put the capo on the 5th fret but joel doesnt put any capo. and his acoustic guitar sounds louder cos the tone , if you listen well, theres no capo!
....
this guy has it has it right leave him alone already.
you want to let every note ring as long as possible and you cant do that if your using the 15 on the b or movin it down the fretboard onto the 8-10 on the E string.
hey its me again the person who put this up there and i just wanted to say a couple things those of you that think the intro sounds wrong im telling you its 100%correct i have the dvd and you can see how he plays it and if it sounds wrong its your intonation guitars do that alot on the high e you either need to get it fixed or change your strings so rock on!!! and ask any questions you need to thx very much, JcRockStar11 also known as CrossFire!
