First off, HUGE THANKS to Relient_Kev for his awesome chords for acoustic!
It's the chords I'll be using except I've made a few corrections and added the
strumming. He wrote F# as a powerchord and I think it sounds way too dead
compared to the other chords. So I changed it to F#m and F# (F sharp major)
for the bridge. I've also found the proper names for some of the chords.
It sounds like the C#msus7 chords should be plain C#m chords, but I think the
C#msus7 chords sound better, so I'll use those in my tab. To make it simple
and easy to read I've divided the song into two parts.

|------------------------------- Acoustic Part ------------------------------|

Capo on 2nd fret. I've written the song as if the capo was the end of the
neck, so 0 is the capo fret, 2 means the 4th fret and so on. I've also written
the chord names as if they were one full step down.

So here are the real chords: F#, Bsus2, D#msus7, G#m, C#sus4, G#
And here is how I write them: E, Asus2, C#msus7, F#m, Bsus4, F#

Intro:
E Asus2 C#msus7 Asus2

Verses:
E Asus2 C#msus7 Asus2
E Asus2 C#msus7 Asus2

Pre-Chorus 1:
F#m Asus2 F#m Asus2

Pre-Chorus 2:
F#m Asus2 F#m (Skip last chord)

Chorus:
E Bsus4 Asus2 F#m
E Bsus4 Asus2 F#m

Interlude:
E Asus2 C#msus7 Asus2

Bridge:
C#msus7 F# E Bsus4
C#msus7 F# Asus2 Bsus4

Outro:
E Asus2 C#msus7 F#m (Last chord not actually played)

Chords
E: 022100
Asus2: 002200
C#msus7: 046600
F#m: 244222

Here I've tried to tab the strumming pattern for the acoustic guitar. It might
not be 100% perfect, but I think it's pretty close anyway. You don't have to
follow the strumming exactly if you don't want to, find the strumming that
fits you the best.

d = Downstroke
u = Upstroke

|------------------------------ Electric Part -------------------------------|

I'll be the first to tab this song with the electric Lead Guitar!!! That's
pretty cool. I've written the Lead Guitar the normal way with no relation to
any capo. Uses clean sound.

x = Mute the string completely.
/ = Slide up
\ = Slide down
h = Hammer on
p = Pull off

So that's the entire song. Took me pretty long time to do, especially since I
added the strumming of the acoustic guitar. But here it is, hope you can enjoy
it and learn something from it. TFK ROCKS!!! Um, sorry, HAS BEAUTIFUL BALLADS!
God Bless,
Daniel

SHARK - 2006-04-22

only 2 more to go dont expect me to play though im not that good yet I can tellits great though!

Dani_Boy - 2006-04-22

Hehe, thanks. Now it's only Last Words left to go, I sent in Break The Silence today. The chords to this song for acoustic is pretty easy, and you don't have to follow the exact strummings if you don't want to. I just love playing with that capo!!! It sounds so beautiful, so suspended! I've got to find more capo songs, this one is the only one with capo that I can play.

The Lead Guitar is a little bit more tricky, but it's sweet if you can get the hang of it. Thanks for all your help SHARK!

ice_wiz - 2006-04-23

Breathe You In uses a capo.

Dani_Boy - 2006-04-24

It does? Great, I'll have to try it out some time. Right now I'm too exalted over the Set It Off album, I want to finish off Phenomenon and I've promised to do Hand Grenade... I've got a lot to do, hehe, hardly have time to breathe lol, and that's not counting homework and things like that. No, honestly, it's so fun to tab stuff. It's no burden, it's a joy. I'll keep tabbing until I die!!!

ice_wiz - 2006-04-26

This is really good I don't think I can find anything wrong... I'll tell you if I come up with something later.

Dani_Boy - 2006-04-27

Thanks guys :)

tl_guitarnut - 2006-05-06

This tab is AWSOME. I will play it all the time.

Dani_Boy - 2006-05-07

Thanks man, I appreaciate those words.

Dani_Boy - 2006-05-07

It IS a beatiful song by the way, it's really moving. It has touched me many times, and it's so fun to play it with that capo on! :)

tl_guitarnut - 2006-05-07

I agree 110%

tl_guitarnut - 2006-05-07

Also, Dani_Boy I just wanted to let you know that I might be playing this song in an outreach event for my church

Dani_Boy - 2006-05-08

You are? Well good for you! Are you gonna play acoustic then, or electric? How many people are you playing with? Are you gonna sing too? When is it, can I pray for you? :) That's really fun to hear, and I hope it'll go really well. Most of all, I hope that you can be able to touch many people and give yourself some joy too. How many people will you be playing for?

Please tell me if I can help you with anything, I want it to go well for you! God Bless

tl_guitarnut - 2006-06-27

Sorry it took me so long to comment on this, I actually didn't get a chance to play it, I would have played it acoustic (WITH THE CAPO) and I would have sung it too, but I'll update you if I get another chance to play, and I'm gonna wait until I have all the details. BTW, if I ever get another chance to play, this song will be my first pick.

tl_guitarnut - 2006-06-27

Oh yeah, I would have played it at this festival, in a tent and theres no telling how many people would show up (a lot I hope) The reason I didn't get to play was because the person in charge took out youth events> I wish I could have played!!!!!!!

tl_guitarnut - 2006-07-01

oh yeah forgot to put this on, I just saw them in concert and it looks like for the F# the play it as a power chord, I know it's not much, but, every little bit helps

Dani_Boy - 2006-07-12

Okay, please tell me if you get the chance to play it. :)

I don't think they have F# powerchords, because it sounds very "flat" compared to all the other chords. In the bridge, I'm pretty sure they do a major chord, since I can hear that major tonality. They might be playing power F#, but they do look pretty alike you know. All you need to do to play a minor F# is to lay your index finger across the neck and strum all the strings instead of three. But you might be right, I don't know :)

tl_guitarnut - 2006-07-17

yeah, I think you're about that, I just saw Jamie reach down to that position, I was to busy headbanging, he probably is playing a full chord like you have.

ice_wiz - 2006-07-23

Okay, I found something. On the intro the last chord is open, so it's an up stroke open.

Dani_Boy - 2006-08-05

You were headbanging to "This Is A Call"? lol, you're funny.

Open? Do you mean he does a stroke over all the strings open like this?

tl_guitarnut - 2006-08-07

*friend* I before E lol

tl_guitarnut - 2006-08-07

I'm sure Trevor probably looked at us a few times, cause we were really jammin' on the slowest song they played :) :) :)

Dani_Boy - 2006-08-22

Haaaaaaahahahah, funny ;) Hope you didn't freak out poor Trevor's mind too bad, hehe. I could hardly try to imagine it myself if two guys would be headbanging when I'm gonna play this song the 1st of September. I'll be playing at a outdoor party for my previous school's 20th anniversary. It's gonna be great fun, but I bet I couldn't hold myself from busting up laughing if someone started headbanging :)

tl_guitarnut - 2006-08-23

:) that would be funny. Good luck with the song, I'll be praying for ya.

Dani_Boy - 2006-08-27

Thanks

Te eF Kay - 2006-09-15

okay I know I have been realy slack and havn't played this for ages but i've changed now(sniff)and i'll try it can you ever forgive me(sob)!lol!

Dani_Boy - 2006-09-24

Hehe, funny =P Thanks to all who prayed for me, the whole thing went terrific. Many people said they were touched, so that felt really encouraging :)

Here's a little cool alternate chord to play at the very end of the interlude, right after the Bsus chord (TFK does NOT play this in the original song):

CDBongo - 2007-01-14
