On the chorus just do whatever picking pattern you like, he changes it everytime.
It will be very helpful to keep in mind that these are the same chords used for “Beautiful”
and basically the same picking patterns. Just listen to the cd to pick it up!!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!

This Was a Great job on this tab. I am wondering if anyone has the chorus tabed out a little better. Also In stead of playing the C note on the the rundown it with just playing that open G note. Try it aand tell me what you think.

chorus chords are: F, G, C, G, Am
you can play off these root chords into variations or whatever you want ... but they are the cornerstone for the chorus.

actually the last G in the chorus sounds more like a C/B .. sorry hehe

Here is something I do (right or wrong) for a few of Shawn's songs. It involves using your thumb, but once you're used to it, it makes this song, and "Beatiful" a bit easier to play, and I think it sounds better than the use of rock chords like these:

Instead, I play:

The (T) is your thumb wrapped over the top. The (*) on the A string is optional to play open or simply skip while picking. This method allows the flow of the song to progress without the unintentional stop/start of repositioning your hand to cover the top of what would have been a barre chord. It also allows for the "5th" on the b string, adding to the treble of the chord.
