Artist: Thousand Foot Krutch
Song: Quicken
Album: Phenomenon
Tuning: Drop D (Tune low e string down to a D note.

Nobody seems to have noticed the Lead Guitar, so I decided to tab the song
with the Lead Guitar included. Rhythm Guitar has lots of distortion, but the
Lead Guitar plays with what sounds like less prescence and less distortion.
(In the verses it has a different sound) Just listen and you'll hear it.
Anyway, here we go.

/ = Slide up
\ = Slide down
|--LG--| = Marks area in a Rhytm Guitar section where the Lead Guitar plays.
b = Bend string to the pitch of the indicated note. If many b's in a chain,
keep bending to the pitches of the indicated notes, don't play with pick.
p = Pull off. (Pull off your finger from the previous note so that it drops to
the indicated note.)

Chorus

That's all there is to it. You can try to play everything with one guitar if
you like, but then you won't get the special sound that TFK's got. It seems
pretty accurate to me, (as it always does to the author) but please write
comments/corrections to help me improve as a "tabber". TFK ROCKS!!!
God Bless,
Daniel

Comments about this tab

I think the Lead Guitar might be using octaves instead of chords,
now that I think of it. Otherwise I think I got it pretty good.
Could someone please give me some responce? It feels like nobody
rates or comments new tabs anymore. Could anybody care to tell
me if the tab's good or not? the same goes for my "Step To Me"
Tab. I would be happy if people got in a habit of commenting more.

Dani_Boy - 2006-04-15

It does use octaves, I don't just think so anymore. Replace the Lead Guitar's chords with octaves, but otherwise I think it should be pretty good, don't you think? :) If you find anything else, please tell me.

Dani_Boy - 2006-04-19

I think the Rhythm Guitar adds this in the first half of the bridge, before the 10 fretted chords of the Lead Guitar. Some thing like this, along with the bass guitar.

G|--------|
D|--------|
A|--------|x2
D|--1--1--|

Listen to hear exactly when to play it. In the second half of bridge there is only Lead Guitar and bass, no Rhythm Guitar. Tell me what you think.

SHARK - 2006-04-24

I dont listen 2this song much its probably my least favorite because the verses sound wierd.

Dani_Boy - 2006-04-24

You mean "Never would have guessed?" Most people don't like that, I think it's funny.

SHARK - 2006-04-25

funny?

Dani_Boy - 2006-04-26

Yeah, it sounds weird, goes a bit out of the song, still kinda fits. It's funny

Dani_Boy - 2006-05-01

Wow, I've got so many mistaked in this tab I think I'll post a new one. I'm actually going to rate myself a 3 here.

Dani_Boy - 2006-05-03

I've sent in a corrected version now. It might not be necessary since this is like one of TFK's least popular songs, but anyhow, check it out instead.

I love all their songs, and I want to make them all good!:)
