|G-2-| instead of |D-7-|. They’re both A5 chords.

Pre-chorus
Note: This part is very tricky. It’s hard to hear the guitar, and it’s very
syncopated. Below, the timing is written out 1,2,3,4,etc. (4/4 timing),
and the X’s stand for when Chad hits the snare drum. Chad hits the snare
drum at the same time as the d5 chord is played, which should help you get
the timing down.

This is a great song that's a lot of fun to play. I hope God uses this song to
remind us to be careful of what we look at and watch on tv.

That pre-chorus was kind of complicated but you're defintely right. The timing with the drum thing really helped. AWESOME TAB!! really good job. There something weird with the spacing in your correction of the outro.
Here's the same correction but with out the spacing messup.

Let that last power chord ring!

ironmaiden08 - 2006-06-07

i think switchfoot plays in drop d

ironmaiden08 - 2006-06-07

on the end of the chorus instead of 77787
instead of the 8, you bend the string in the 7th fret
so... 7 7 7 7b 7

7places_07 - 2006-06-18

although they did a lot of drop d in nothing is sound, switchfoot doesn't always play in drop d. this song really could be played either way. the difference is the low D power chord. i played this tab and it's really accurate i give it a 5!

Xo PePpEr NoSe - 2007-01-20

yeah this is good... especially the pre-chorus... i just think the whole song should be in drop D -emily-
