This is my first attempt at this, so I apologize if it is all wrong. It could be that this is how
the song sounds best with my guitar and the effects I use. So, feel free to correct me
because I really would like a correct version of this song. Thank You.

Em C Em C
(The last C chord in the chorus is played at the beginning of the following verse. Listen

played on the last time the chorus is played.)

Again, I apologize for any errors. Please correct me. This is a great performance of a
VERY powerful song and it has impacted my life. I pray it does the same for someone
else. Thanks again!

Playing and Praying In His Spirit,

On the chorus, the Am might be like this:

Am - XX2210
(This sounds better)

YieldedOne posted (on 03-11-2005) a different chord progression that is probably better than the one I provided here.

the verse souds right exept the last note you play before going into the chorus should be a C/D and the chorus doesnt sound right.

this is how I play it:

Em D
take me in to the Holy of the holies
Am7 Am7/D Em Bm7
take me in by the blood of the lamb
Em D
take me in to the Holy of the holies
Am B7
take the coal, cleanse my lips
Em
here I am

I just relized that the version I wrote it down as is another version I have. The version I have is in spanish and played by a sapnish band but their version is like almost the same as kutless.

How do you play the note C/D, at the end going into the chorus?

christian_latin - 2006-07-19

C/D is:
E/-O
B/-1
G/-0
D/-0
A/-X
E/-X

And instead of drop tunin to C#, i play all those chords in regular tuning (E,A,D,G,B,E,) but with capo on 2 fret, it sounds pretty accurate to the cd version
