Notes: The Gm in parenthesis can be replaced by a C but if you listen
closely to the record I’m pretty sure you can hear that Gm. As for the
instrumental break, it’s pretty simple but effective. I’ll transcribe
it if there’s a popular demand. Also Gene drops the Dm do Dsus2 to create
a little melody. Listen to the record and you’ll hear what I mean. By the
way, does anyone out there disagree that this is the best song ever written
both musically as well as lyrically?
