Anberlin Autobahn Blueprints for the Black Market Tooth & Nail Records (2003) This acoustic version of Autobahn was a promo originally for the Rolling Stone Magazine website and may have once been on the MTV site, but now it can only be found in audio format on Kazaa, etc. The tuning for this song is really weird because it's in standard tuning but lowered about 1/4 step as if he didn't have a tuner and tuned it too low. If you're not playing along with the song or if you are playing along with the non-acoustic one on the cd, just leave it in standard. If you're playing with the acoustic version, tune the A string, 3rd fret to the guitar on the song. Then tune all of the other strings to the A string. It's not complicated, it just sounds complicated. Anyway, on to the tab. C G Am B F F(2nd vers.) E-8--3--5--7--1-----8----------------- B-8--3--5--7--1----10----------------- G-9--4--5--8--2----10----------------- D-10-5--7--9--3----10----------------- A-10-5--7--9--3-----8----------------- E-8--3--5--7--1-----8----------------- 5...6...5, 6, 7, 8, GO! Clap clap! Inro C G Am B (x2) The G and B are just little transition chords. Verse (We're driving...) muted: C F C F(2) not muted: C F C F Chorus (Stereo sings...) Am F Am F C F Am F Verse 2(we're miles from...) muted: C F C F(2) not muted: C F C F Chorus (Stereo sings our...) Am F Am F C F Am F <---x2 ?mystery chord? C F Am F C F Am F end on... C And there you go. I hope that's confusing, and I hope all of you are pleased with it. That one part that says mystery chord says that because I don't know what it is, but it is only played for a second and it sounds fin if you just play C in its place. So just follow the notes down the page and you're good to go. The reason there is two F's is because they are in different octaves and it sounds better and is easier to play them differently than having just one F chord. I hear nothing wrong with this and niether do my fellow guitarists, so hopefully it is 100% correct and comment if you find anything.
