Title: Get Your Praise On
Artist: Planet Shakers

Ok this isnt perfect, but I'm just laying down the foundations which I can
build on. Any help would be most welcome. This is such an awesome song
fun to play at church and get everyone crankin!

all I have is the riff so far, but hopefully more to come soon!

e|---------------------------
b|---------------------------
g|---------------------------
d|---------------------------
a|-----------------5---------
E|--5--7-7-5-7-5-7----------- repeat throughout the song

This isn't on any album that I know of....only played live.
Henry plays it with a waa-waa pedal which makes it a bit more funky :-D

I think the correct title for the song is jump around

bread man - 2005-02-21

Good work on the riff. Do you happen to have a recording of this song, or know where I can get one? My youth pastor is desperate to do this song at youth, but I can't figure it out because I have nothing to go from, other than memory.

Burning - 2005-02-23

um i thought it started on c.
So it would go 'something like this':

E||--------------------------|-------------------------|
B||--------------------------|-------------------------|
G||--------------------------|-------------------------|
D||-----------------------3--|-----------------5p-3----|
A||--3--5--5--3--5--3--5-----|--3--5--5--3--5----------|
E||--------------------------|-------------------------|

--------------------------|-------------------------|--------------------------|
--------------------------|-------------------------|--------------------------|
--------------------------|-------------------------|--------------------------|
-----------------------3--|-----------------5h-3----|-----------------------3--|
--3--5--5--3--5--3--5-----|--3--5--5--3--5----------|--3--5--5--3--5--3--5-----|
--------------------------|-------------------------|--------------------------|

----------------------||
----------------------||
----------------------||
-------2----3----5----||
--5-------------------||
----------------------||

during the verse it's just

E||--------------------------|
B||--------------------------|
G||--------------------------|
D||--------------------------|
A||--3-----------5-----------|
E||--------------------------|

ummmmmm....

there's also a bit with playing fifths on the e string for one part of it but i can't recall.
like
|F G|F G|F G|G A| or somesuch. Best of luck and i hope this helps.

Ok I don't have a recording, but its DEFINITELY in A. I was there and watched where henry played it...anyway my Youth Pastor is also desperate to play it at youth. I have worked on it a fair bit since i wrote this VERY basic tab, and I think ive got most of it right. except a few things like the different bridges

SkinlessElmo - 2005-04-26

Na dude, its in C, my friend has a copy of the recording and we play it at youth.
Burning's riff is pretty much right. I just know the bass riff.

nuthead - 2005-08-21

Buring got the riff right i think... There is so much more to this song than what is tabbed... Get a chart for it...
