To play with the CD you hafta be in Db, but you could play it in dropped D of
course.
Intro

P.M.--------] Repeat this 8x
Chorus

---------------------------------------------------------------
-4-4-4-4-2-2-0-0-0-0-0-----------------------------------------
-4-4-4-4-2-2-0-0-0-0-0-----------------------------------------
-4-4-4-4-2-2-0-0-0-0-0-----------------------------------------
Repeat 2x then play the intro riff 4x ending on 555 the last time.
Then the verse riff and chorus.. After the chorus, there's
a break... There's not much music here, some acoustic strumming or
or whatever.. I just switch to a clean channel and play this. It
sounds fine. If you want to strum and pick that sounds good too, I'm
just putting this in for fun... Just play around with it.

--9s11-11-13-14~~~~~----(play this with a little wah)-----16b--
--(repeat this 2x)------(I didn't count how many times)--------
------------------------(just play it until you wanna quit)----
------------------------(finish with 16b and go to the chorus)-
Play the Chorus a few times, and end on the intro with the 555
variation every second time, end on 444, and that's the end of
another awesome Day Of Fire song. This should be accurate...
Hope it works for you. Peace
Later on in the song, he plays the intro with a variation, if you read the note at the end I explained it... As far as the intro goes, he might lightly sound the 2nd fret at the end of each time, but it isn't really played, at least you can't hear it very well... I think the tab sounds awesome, give it a try and let me know...
good tab,,,sounds rite but man i saw greg play it ahhh i dont know how he does it but it doesnt look anything like this tab...he dusnt use power chords in the intro
Thanks, Mad On Guitars.. Yeah I have no idea how else he would play it, it sure sounds close to me... Maybe he was in Dropped C or something, but still, I think the chords should be close... Anyway, this is just a way to play the song, I don't think tabs are ever perfect unless you steal 'em out of the book... lol
Anyway, thanks a lot man, glad you liked the tab. Peace
yeah fully rite...we shuldnt clone the song...just give ur interpritation...ur tribute of the song...yeah in dropped c is the way..u shud try it sum time
Hy this is an awesome tab; I've been playing for about 7 years and by listening to this song it would definatly be in drop c, but if it can be done like you got it then its just your why of playing it.
Yeah Mr Hyde, it might be in Dropped C, but it would just be a fret higher, because you don't ever use C5, just C#5 (Db5). So you can hit the notes without tuning down to Dropped C.
i don't think it's drop c. it sounds like C# to me. just drop the guitar a half step. i'm pretty sure. but play however u want. i alwasy play in drop c and i ain't about to change tunings for one song. peace.
Yeah, Hunter, I'm absolutely sure that you can hit the correct chords to play with the CD without going to dropped C... C#5 is the lowest chord in the song.
(This next part isn't directed to you, I am the Hunter.)
I explained this to beginners/people who don't understand de-tuning on my Detainer tab, if this confuses some of you... Ya see, if the guitarist is in Dropped C, and he never plays below the second fret, then you can use Dropped D on the song and still play the song exactly the same... I explained it fully on the other tab, and I know that most of you know all this, it's just some people that don't understand the whole concept yet that I'm trying to inform... Hope this helps a little, and thanks a lot for the comment, Hunter... Peace out...
DROP C!!!!!
C-5555555-x-1-x-0-
G-5555555-x-1-x-0-
C-5555555-x-1-x-0-
this is MY interpritation(did i spell that wrong?)
o ya strumming not perfect but close
Ok, please don't sit and ramble about things that don't matter on my guitar tab... If you want to add a correction or comment, that's fine, but don't sit and tell me how inaccurate my tab is with no explanation for why... Are you trying to say you're the only one that knows how to play guitar??? I'm confused... This is my contribution/interpretation, and if you have one, I'd like to see it... So please don't harp on me, I never said mine was perfect... I still think it's in C# though, have you tried it?? Peace
#1 it's in drop C
#2, the intro is like this...
c--5-5--0-6-5-5--6-0--
g--5-5--0-6-5-5--6-0--(repeat)
c--5-5--0-6-5-5--6-0--
#3 verse is pm...--355535--0-0--(repeat)
and #4...chorus is like this
c--5-5-xx3xx3-1-xx1-0-0--
g--5-5-xx3xx3-1-xx1-0-0--(repeat)
c--5-5-xx3xx3-1-xx1-0-0--
