Bebo Norman - Nothing Without You
From the album Try

Some of this may be wrong, I don't know, I had a really crummy recording.
Also, It may be hard to make sense of this without lyrics, but, if you
want a version with lyrics, send me an e-mail at
and I'll send you one really quick

Note: This is just the chord sheet, but all the chords are tabbed out at
the bottom.

maybe something what will help.
is if you put it as capo 1.
i think it sounds just a tad bit better. =)
good job man.

If you tune to an open E (down 1 step really a D in pitch/an E in form), you can work out the chords so all the voicings fit and you can play the fills with a slide.

Something that might help with this song is to use the tuning DADGAD. Thats the way the song is played on the album.

I think the part that goes "with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my mind" should go Bm A G instead of D A G on all four lines.
Great tab, and God bless...

The Bm comes in on the third line on to cover ME (that is where bm is) and then you just keep it there for the first part of the line and go Bm A G

I did not get it. Good try though.

"Try" this: These chord forms are becoming more popular; you will hear them on the first "City on a Hill" project a few years ago. Although the guitar is tuned down in the recording, these are popular E barre chord forms, and they are generally quite easy to play. (Thank you Mr. Norman )For now, we'll call it E, since that's how it's played, even though the recording slightly lower. Yes, the nice dissonance comes from allowing the open E and B strings to ring throughtout the song. I believe that the first chord is up on the 7th fret, though, as in 0-7-9-9-0-0. The B chord can be played at the second or 7th fret, (x-2-4-4-0-0) or (7-9-9-6-0-0). The C#m7 must be at the fourth fret: x-4-6-6-0-0. The A2 is back to the 5th fret: x-0-7-6-0-0. Listen for the subtle hints at Emaj7 form (0-7-9-8-0-0) and E sus (0-9-9-9-0-0) at the end of the song.
