By popular demand here are the chords to the song " King of the Hill"
by Eli

The tricky thing is that in many of the lines you play the chord
first on the first beat then start singing on the second beat.
That's why on some lines the chord in written before the sentence.
And the others you play exactly on the word you sing.

In respects to this song, the regular B chord doesn't sound
like the cd because I am using a variation of the B chord and the
other chords are variations as well in which you will find are more
beautiful sounding.
Here are the chord variations in which I hear on the cd:

C#m A B E

e 0 e 0 e 0 e 0
B 0 B 0 B 0 B 0
G 6 G 2 G 4 G 1
D 6 D 2 D 4 D 2
A 4 A 0 A 2 A 2
E 0 E 0 E 0 E 0

King of the Hill
-Eli

Intro: C#m A E

Verse 1-
C#m A E
   Stay with me awhile.
                     C#m A E
Well it may seem foolish, but I'm scared
C#m A E
   My beloveds yelling "Crucify!"
A B E
And its as if no one ever cared.

C#m A E
Soldiers mock me with their songs.
         C#m A E
They laugh because I'm naked and I'm weak
                C#m A E
Well I don't know how much longer I can go on,
         A B E
When every breath I take is just to weep.

Chorus 1-
C#m A E
And for a moment time stood still,
       C#m A E
To listen to the King of the hill.
C#m A E
And all the angels just stood still.
        A B E
To listen to the King of the hill.

Verse 2-
C#m A E
      Well I could've had servants
                      C#m A E
And I could have ruled this world as their King.
 C#m A E
And I could have had wealth beond measure.

C#m B A B
I could have had anything, but it wouldn't have meant anything

C#m A E
Not my will but Yours be done,
C#m A E
I had no agenda, only Your truth.
C#m A E
You were so proud to call me Son,
        A B E
Now Father, I commit my soul to You.

Chorus 2-
C#m A E
And for a moment time stood still,
        C#m A E
To listen to the King of the hill.
C#m A E
And I can hear You whisper, still,
     A B C#m
Father, I'm the King of the hill,
     A B E
Father, I'm the King of the hill
