Hey guys,

There's a song on this CD that I would love to play

It's called "Lay Down My Pride"

I would be great if someone could figure this song out,

because i've tried (and failed).

spikebob - 2005-03-26

Can anybody tell me what to play on the second verse after the other instruments start

jk1211 - 2005-05-22

hey spikebob!! after the chorus, during the second verse, just play the same riff as the intro and verse.

FollowtheKing - 2005-08-06

awesome tab. But what are they playing during the 2nd verse. Its not the same 1st verse riff. Electric is strumming something

Has anyone heard the version on the Live CD? Is it any different? What does he do for the second verse?

joejoe1991 - 2006-01-08

isn't this a piano song?

gigemhilo - 2006-01-09

the original recording on the "Restored" CD is guitar driven. You have listened to the recording on his "Unplugged" cd which has no guitar.

great tab!

YESILOVEMYJESUS - 2006-03-29

This is good, but i'm pretty sure this isn't exactly how it is played on the cd. From what it sounds like, and what I'm playing, I think he uses partial capo on the 2nd fret and plays D/G D/A D/Bm etc. These chords are similiar to Take My Hand by Shawn Mcdonald or Psalm 145 by Shane & Shane or My Stupid Mouth by John Mayer. From the tabs of those songs is where i learned to do the D/x chords. It's where you play a D chord, but you change the bass note.

nsande1 - 2006-12-01

Definitely a cut capo at the 2nd fret.
