Comments about this tab

Jaewalkin - 2004-12-24

i think it goes G ----10 after the first three notes.
D --7---
A 8-----

Jaewalkin - 2004-12-24

sorry, that didn't line up like i wanted it to

Jaewalkin - 2004-12-24

i just mean i think it's the 10th fret instead of the ninth fret for the sixth note of the song

JasonD - 2005-01-07

I'm pretty sure that the line that is played over and ove again goes like this:

E--------------------------------------------------
B--------------------------------------------------
G----------9-----------12--------------------------
D-------7----------10-------------10----------9/10-
A----5--------8----------------8----------7--------
E-------------------------6-----------5------------

Makes more sense to me for the fingering, and I think it sounds much closer to the CD.

Vanquish385 - 2005-02-20

I think the fingering is way harder than it needs to be. This is the same notes, just easier to play:

E--------------------------------------------------
B----------5-----------8----------1-----------0h1--
G--------------------------------------------------
D-------7----------10----------3----------2--------
A----5--------8-----------1-----------0------------
E--------------------------------------------------

if you want to know how i figured this out, just e-mail me at vanquish385@hotmail.com

Vanquish385 - 2005-02-21

Forget my edit above this one, because this is better:

I was looking at the power chords for the rest of the song, and realized that the go with the intro thing. So for the first part, you put your fingers on the power chords, just like the second part.

Like this:

E--------------------------------------------------
B----------5-----------8---------------------------
G---------------------------------6-----------5/6--
D-------7----------10------------------------------
A----5--------8----------------8----------7--------
E-------------------------6-----------5------------

then the other part sounds better as an actual power chord

Like this:

E--------------------------------------------------
B--------------------------------------------------
G--7--7--7--7--10-10-10-10-------------------------
D--7--7--7--7--10-10-10-10-8--8--8--8--7--7--7--7--
A--5--5--5--5--8--8--8--8--8--8--8--8--7--7--7--7--
E--------------------------6--6--6--6--5--5--5--5--

Strumming4Jesus - 2005-04-06

well...I actually think it sounds good the way clorox submited it
sooo good job dude!

keepinitreal25 - 2005-06-07

what tuning do you put it in?

JasonD - 2005-06-15

Vanquish385, you're second tab might be easier for you to play, but your version is different then the song from the CD - so its actually harder to play then you think - this is your tab, but with two corrections ...

E--------------------------------------------------
B----------5-----------8---------------------------
G---------------------------------5-----------4/5--
D-------7----------10------------------------------
A----5--------8----------------8----------7--------
E-------------------------6-----------5------------

D----7--------10--------8-------9-10
A--5--------8---------8-----0-7-----
E-------------------6---------------

This is how I play it....I think it sounds pretty good. TOBYMAC ROCKS!!!

GodisKing3 - 2006-02-22

I think that JasonD is right. Both of his sound really good to me. Good job.

YankBoy19888 - 2006-04-04

JasonD did it right, but of all of them I think Vanquish385's 1st tab is the easiest to play and most on the money.

AllForHim2008 - 2006-05-05

hey guys, the way Jason did it seems the right way and vanquishe's is easier but noone would be good at the guitar if everyone tried to find the easiest way to play something. Besides, when you switch notes around to make it easier it just doesnt sound exactly like it should. Make it a goal to play your best for Jesus whether its hard or easy.In the end, if you go with the option that is harder but sounds the best, then you will become a better guitarist. God Bless
Rock on. peace.
