Dare You to Move
The Beautiful Letdown

This song rocks my world! Once again, people have come close to getting it
right, but no one has gotten it right. Here it is.

intro (gtr 1)

"..everyone's here.."

gtr2: distorted

"..and everybody's watching you now.."
(repeat intro)

"I dare you to move"

"welcome to the fall out"
-7--9--9--7--9--9---9--9---7-7--| (x2)

"the tension is here"
-4--4-4--4--4-4--4----7--7-7--7--7-7---7- + (repeat "welcome to the fallout")

This song is awesome. please rate, comment and enjoy it!

Overall the best tab submitted, but it's missing the changes for the last two lines of each verse. Here's how it sounds to my ears:

"Everyone is here...Everyone is here.."

e ------------------------------------
A ------------------------------------
D --6-6-6-6---6-6-6-6---6-6-6-6-------
G --7-7-7-7---7-7-7-7---7-7-7-7-------
B ------------------------------------
E ------------------------------------

"Everyone is watching you now"

e ------------------------------------
A ------------------------------------
D --9-9-9-9---9-9-9-9---9-9-9-9-------
G --9-9-9-9---9-9-9-9---9-9-9-9-------
B ------------------------------------
E ------------------------------------

"What happens next...What happens next"

e ---------------------------------------------------

The solo sounds a little different to me. Here's what I'm hearing:

sixstringes777 - 2004-11-23

i belive the song starts off with this note

------- --8----
--12--- (read as 12 and 11) -------
---9--- --9----
--11--- --9----
------- -------
------- not -------
this tab has so many mistakes. how did it get a 5?
that wont last

carsonh76 - 2004-11-26

yo sixstringes777! first of all, stringsis spelled "strings" not "stringes." don't dis this perfectly accurate tab if you can't evenspell right. hehe just playin with you. second of all if you know the tab so well, why don't you post one yourself?

curt02k1 - 2004-11-29

hey six strings......this is a christian nice...also....this tab is ALMOST perfect but the 8th fret on the verse should be moved to the 7th...then it is straight off the dvd AND the late show...perfection buddy

carsonh76 - 2004-11-30

thanks curt02k1. you know what you are talking about!

b/c switchfoot is better than audio adrenaline

jsoccer - 2004-12-08

aznguitarist28 - 2004-12-22

palease peoples. dont be arguing over bands. only switchfoot is more mainstream. they are still both great christian bands. ....and dont dis tabs. it takes a very long time to actually make a good one.

spider_man - 2005-02-02

i like your tab but i found one quick mistake for your first notes

--9-9-9 instead of the 8th fret, you should play it down one like this

--9-9-9 like this, then it sounds perfect. thats why im guessing it was probably just a typing error or somethin, awesome job though! i love how you dont have to throw your fingers all over like in the other tabs.
nice work!!

carsonh76 - 2005-02-03

spider_man is right, i made a small typo. the intro should be played on the 7, not 8. thanx.

rkfreak - 2005-03-08

hey sweet tab but in the intro on the first chord the 8 on the high e string should be a 7

rkfreak - 2005-03-08

sorry i forgot to read spider_man's correction about that problem

carsonh76 - 2005-03-27

it's alright

guitarplayer67 - 2005-06-25

haha i lowered the score of this tab from a 5 to a 3.5. :P
