I think that an D/F# chord would sound better than the F#m chord that you have posted. Other than that, the tab is great!

I think the F#m sounds better than D/F#.
Also, there is definitely a base note D, so he's dropped the low E to D. He might have a guitar in there tuned down a whole step, partially capoed 2 on the A, D & G strings only, playing some E form chords. His D chord sounds so open in one of the guitars, I think it's a partial capo, but he'd have to tune down to do it. Great tab, great song, great message.
