Wow this really sounds great, good work! i just thought i'd add something that i found while i was playing this. after the chorus and before the verse, but band plays a couple more chords, so i just played G A2 C and it sounded really nice! i hope that helps a little!

why did this get such a low rating? This sounds much better than the other stuff...
jonmac - 2005-04-11
i agree, this version should be rated higher. the only correction i could find is i think that the opening chord on the bridge is a C, not Am7. other than that, great job on your first tab...
JasonD - 2005-06-10
on the intro for this tab - try playing these chords .... they sound better then just simply playing the G chord over and over :D
e|---3---3---3---
B|---3---3---1---
G|---0---2---0---
D|---0---0---0---
A|---2---x---x---
E|---3---3---3---

I just saw Jon and Tim play this at Alive Fest and one of them just plays G and the other plays that changing note on the other guitar, but it sounds exactly the same if you play it like this:
e|---3---3---3---3---3---3---
B|---0---x---1---0---x---3---
G|---0---2---0---0---2---0---
D|---0---0---0---0---0---0---
A|---x---x---x---x---x---x---
E|---3---3---3---3---3---3---

samuel80 - 2005-11-13
Yea it kinda sucks that we can't post the lyrics...it would really help a lot.
I think we can post links so I put the lyrics along with the chords here:

E-10-8-7-3-8-7-3-5--------------
B-------------------------------
G-------------------------------
thats electric part in chorus. i just put the numbers so u guys can figure out how many times to play. just listen to the song, but starfield does it in G# so u gotta follow them half a step higher than this tab (add 1 to every number). and after the chorus, the electric plays this:
E-7-5-8-7-5-10------
B-------------------
G-------------------
have fun!
yulittle03 - 2005-12-03
and the song is like this guys:
verses
G D
C
Am D
prechorus
C G
Am D
C G
D
chorus
G D
C
Am D (X2)
starfield does this song in G# and i like that too.
Crawdawg06 - 2006-04-09
guys, yulittle's chord progressions are correct...
only thing I'd add is a reminder that on the prechorus, that G is actually gonna be G/B...
ex. C G/B D .....and so on...
Crawdawg06 - 2006-04-09
prechorus:
C G/B D Am7
C G/B D

On www.worshiptogether.com - Starfield was featured in the NEW SONG CAFE section. They explained and showed how they played the song. The two guitars are often doing two different things. That's why some of you are hearing slightly different things in the song. It's worth checking out the CAFE section. And WorshipTogether is a great resource for musicians and worship leaders. Every week they let you download a new song for free.
