Well thats about it. I hope these tabs will be usefull to you.
God Bless You All!!!
I saw Third Day in concert a month ago and was close enough to the stage to see guitars. Your tab looks accurate as far as what notes to play, but I do know that they played the song with a capo on the 2nd fret. I don't know if you tabbed it relative to a 2nd fret capo or not. Good Job though.
Yeah i was watching the video for this song and he does it on the Big E and the A string for the solo. All you have to do is play the same notes though only on the two strings. Hope that helps someone...maybe.
Hi
I've watched the wire dvd and found that the intro is perfect but it's to high so if you bring it down it go's like this:
e-------------------------------------------------------------------------
B-------------------------------------------------------------------------
G-------------------------------------------------------------------------
D----------------------------------------------------------------9-8-7----
A-7-9-9--7-9-9--7-9-9--7-9-9---------7-9-9--7-9-9--7-9-9--7-9-7----------- E-----------------------------7-8-9---------------------------------------
(I watched where Mark Lee put his fingers on the dvd)
hey! coolguy4553 is right, nearly every song is capo'd with the exception of a few. a lot of the keys they play in are like F# and B which means they capo the 2nd and the 4th fret all the time.
you guys who are wondering about the slide chords, if you are indeed referring to the begining of the song, it's just a D5 chord slid up the and E5. maybe this will help
chords relative to capo 2
D5 - x57700 slide to E5 - 079900 - it's real fast
hope it's helpful!!!
This is how the bridge is played
D|-5- D|---
A|-3- and you hold that for a count of eight and then play A|-2- for a count of
E|--- E|-0-
eight. You repeat that three times, then play D|-5- for a count of eight, then
A|-3-
E|---
play D|---
A|-7- for a count of eight.
E|-5-
I there are anyy corrections on theat please post them!!
God Bless
Ramus106, man you're confusing me with all that stuff.
here's the bridge
play these chords relative to capo 2

pick up the chorus wiht D
im new to guitar so i was wondering if the lead is the part where after he says like every line then it does that or is it at the beginning and what is the chorus (when in the song is it)
nice tab Note Straight from mark he double picks the intro when played live but in the studio he sraight up picks it so put that in your pipe and smoke it
its alot easier if you play it like this
E----------------------------------------
B----------------------------------------
G------------------------------------2210
D-022-022-022-022----022-022-022-020-----
A-----------------0012-------------------
E----------------------------------------
