*COOL HARMONY PART FOR CHORUS*
Dave doesn't do this.
It's something I made up for two acoustics playing this song:
e|--0---0---0
b|--0---0---0
g|--9---8---6
d|--9---9---7 repeat as necessary (strum or fingerpick - mix it up)
a|--7---7---7
E|--x---x---5

chords used:
E:022100
G#/Asus2:4x4400 (use middle finger on E string, ring on D,
and pinky on G - mute A with middle)
Asus2:x02200

its easier on capo 2, played in D... i dont exactly know how, but i watched us play this for worship, on capo 2...

You can also capo 4 and play in C. This is kind of cool to do if you have multiple guitar players and want to keep them from playing the same inversions.

Van002 - 2005-04-23

the intro is played with D2-D/F#-G and then repeated again(capo 2)GOD BLESS!

Great job with a great song, I think Crowder also adds a touch with the intro and sounds cool for filler/fun:

e-----0-----0-----0--------2p0---2p0----2/4---4/5\2--0
B-------0-----0-----0---------------------------------
G---------------------2-------------------------------
D-----------------------------------------------------
A---------------0--------------------0----------------
E---0-----4--------------0-----4----------------------

You can also play this song as follows:

D, D/F#, G, A. This is the whole song.

CtheHammer - 2007-10-07

When we play it for church my buddy who lead will actually use a cut capo over the A, D, and G strings on the second fret (if you don't have a cut capo you can turn around a standard Kaiser capo and use the back on the strings to get the same effect).

The chords then are as follows:
E: 000200
B: 200200
A: 320000

Play those the entire song. Pretty simple and weird stretches. The nice thing about the cut capo is that it makes it incredibly easy to play songs in the key of E.
