Song: Reinventing Your Exit
Artist: Underoath
Album: They're only chasing safety

Tabbed by: John (

In my opinion, the other TAB for this song is only semi-accurate. But I am
sorry that this one is kinda long and a bit of a chore to peace together and
read correctly. But with a limit of 80 characters across the screen, I tried
to simplify it as best I could for posting.

In this arrangement, both guitars are drop D tuning (DADGBe). This
song can actually be played standard tuning without any changes to the music.
All you have to do is take all the fingerings for the drop D string, and play
them down two more frets for a standard tune version. I don't give you all
the strings labels, so your just going to have to figure out how it goes, it
should be pretty easy, though.

Please rate and/or give comments so I can have some feedback. Feel free to
email me as well. Thx.

Hey im sorry, the spacing got messed up somehow on the verse portion of the song and the markers I used to tie guitar parts one and two together got messed up, too. So sorry about that. So watch the lines carefully. Thx.

band_fan - 2005-07-02

Hey does anyone have the chords for this song? e-mail them to me at thanks peace

Dark Tofu - 2005-07-15

Shebz on the Drop D thing
You play everything the same except your lowest string which is the e or d string e in standard. If it says five in drop d then do a 3 in standard tuning. only on the low e string.

freak_4_je5u5 - 2005-07-16

I wish I could read tabs try chords next timee - 2006-01-14

the only correction i hafta make is

that you wrote "peace" instead of "piece"

lol great tab

collegerocker17 - 2006-05-08

What are you talking about?????? He shouldn't do chords just cuz you don't know how to read tabs!!! This is a site that utilizes both chords AND tabs for songs. Plus that there's plenty of stuff on this site to help you learn tabs! I'm sick of people complaining about there not being chords cuz they can't read tabs! LEARN!! It's not that hard!!! Otherwise, don't complain about it, or go to a different site. PLEASE!!!

ice_wiz - 2006-05-16

Why don't you stop complaining yourself!! And leave the poor guy alone! Your acting like a big ol' grump!

collegerocker17 - 2006-05-19

Big ol' grump??? I think the proper term is: "Frustrated Person Who Can't Stand People Complaining About Not Being Able TO Read Tabs!" If someone doesn't know how to read tabs and doesn't want to learn, that's fine!! Just don't gripe on other people for not catering to your self-centered, self-inflicted needs!

rytusguitar - 2006-05-20

haha, sounds like a big ol' grump to me

collegerocker17 - 2006-05-21

That's your opinion.
I just think I have a valid complaint.

ice_wiz - 2006-07-11
