This riff is then repeated. I believe the most accurate way to play this is

studio effects, therefore making it hard to play properly without pedals.

ok, i made a slight mistake when entering this tab...each part should be played twice before the base line is changed, ie

e
b
g 0 0 0 0
d 2 0h2 2 0h2 2 0h2 2 0h2 2 0h2 2 0h2 2 0h2 2 0h2
a
E 0 0 3 3

e
b
g 0 0
d 0h2 0h2 0h2 0h2 ....then the riff is repeated
a 0 0 0
E

the tad issued by the original is almost right accept that the finger tab on the third fret is on the A string and not on the E string Ex.
