Band: Kids In the Way
Song: Hallelujah
Album: Safe From A Losing Fight
Tabbed by: Mike Lehmann

I saw these guys live at Lifest 2004 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. They rock and were
one of the best bands there. I got the CD and listened to it. This song realy
inspired me so I gave it a shot. It's really easy power chords for all you
people who are like me and don't like to play regular chords. It's in drop D
tuning. That's down to D and then down another half step for it all of the
other strings. Listen to the CD for timing and how many times to play each
chord.

Guitar #1:

  Verse/Outro Pre-Chorus Chorus
e--------------|-------------------|----------------------|
B--------------|-------------------|----------------------|
G---------6----|--------------6----|-----------------6----|
D----6----6----|----6----3----6----|--6----1----3----6----|
A----6----4----|----6----3----4----|--6----1----3----4----|
D----6---------|----6----3---------|--6----1----3---------|

  Bridge
e------------------------|
B------------------------|
G------------------------|
D----6----5----3----0----|
A----6----5----3----0----|
D----6----5----3----0----|

Guitar #2:

Verse
e--------------------------------------------------------------------
B-9---9---9---9---8---8---8---8---6---6---6---6----------------------
G---8---8---8---8---8---8---8---8---8---8---8---8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8----
D--------------------------------------------------------------------
A--------------------------------------------------------------------
D--------------------------------------------------------------------

  Pre-Chorus Bridge Outro
e--------------|-----------------------------------|--------------8------------
B----9----8----|----9----8---------9----8----11----|--6---6---6----------------
G--------------|--------------8--------------------|----8---8---8--------------
D--------------|-----------------------------------|---------------------------
A--------------|-----------------------------------|---------------------------
D--------------|-----------------------------------|---------------------------

The bridge only comes in once durring the song. It starts at about 2:09 into
the song and is only played once. Also, Guitar #2 plays the same thing as
Guitar #1 durring the Chorus. If you have any questions or comments just e-mail

In Drop D tuning, you only have to tune down the low E string to D. The other strings stay the same.

this tab is good but for the verse you have this

e--------------
B--------------
G---------6----
D----6----6----
A----6----4----
D----6---------

it sounds good when playing it by yourself but when playing with the music it doesn't sound right

the 6
6
4
sounds fine but the
6
6
6
doesn't sound right... if anyone could help me figure out what this should be i'd really appreciate it

yours,
josh

sounds good to me! good job!

DiscipleRawks - 2008-05-30

Josh, if the
6
6
6
doesn't sound right then you're probably not in the right tuning. To go to
drop D tuning bring the top string down 1 step to a D. Or you can play in
standard tuning and just play it as
D6
A6
E4
instead of the
D6
A6
E6
