Andrew Kostrna - 2004-08-23

would you please put the lyrics to this song, it would be so helpful!

Natron - 2004-09-03

it needs lyrics

vaultingrules - 2004-09-21

good tab, really helpful. One thing that I want to add though. The chords are played in an open type chord. I don't know the actual name for it. but anyways here are the chords that the song sounds like it's played in

E- 079900
B- 099800 or 024400 (you can listen to the song to figure out when to play which)
A- 077600 or 022000 (same as above)
C#m- 046600
F#m normal bar chord (244222)

It's up to you and sometime in the song it may sound better to do the regular chords, just listen and decide what's best for you.

madasatabber - 2004-09-29

You might be able to play the F#m as an open chord as well its 044200 or x442oo . Relient K uses this in song's like Getting into you, ect.

Welcome to the planet
Welcome to existence
Everyone's here
Everyone's watching you now
Everybody waits for you now
What happens next?

I dare you to move
I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor
I dare you to move
Like today never happened
Today never happened before

Welcome to the fallout
Welcome to resistance
The tension is here
Between who you are and who you could be
Between how it is and how it should be

Maybe redemption has stories to tell
maybe forgiveness is right where you fell
Where can you run to escape from yourself?
Where you gonna go?
Where you gonna go?
Salvation is here

i dont know - 2004-10-26

try this for the intro

then let that last one ring and play that again however many times
i'm pretty sure that's right or at least real close

xxkrzaznxx - 2004-11-20

this is the correct intro.. it starts with B barre chord with the base note on the A string then u use different chords buts its still gonna be in the melody of the B barre chord but this is how i think it is its x79997 then xx799x then x799xx thats wut i think cuz u use the melody of the b chords and if u listen closely i juss might be right

LesPaulLuke - 2004-12-01

Hey in the real song that guitar solo after the "salavation is here" is played by a les paul

GLO28 - 2004-12-09

B suspended sounds better than the regular b chord to me...

bigfatape828 - 2004-12-10

i was watching a video where they played this and i am know they playd the intro up around 11 or 9 i wasn't paying much attention, and they didn't barr anything

Dancer3 - 2004-12-12

Hey, i've been dyin' to learn this song. sounds great. thanx

coolcowboy - 2005-03-14

Hey I just registered to this site after trying to verify on how I think "Dare You To Move" is played.... I've had people tell me it sounds just like it, but chances are it's just because of how it sounds but I like to play that song from intro to end with these types of chords, just figure out when to play them... (0)79900 (pinky used on and off with extra note: (0)79990) then slide "up" (<--pitch) to (0)9[11][11]00 then slide back "down" (0)79900 on and off (0)79990 (time it right with song) continue back and forth with that pattern and I'll send the rest later.... night later God bless

gfg41 - 2005-03-31

gfg41 - 2005-03-31

your tab intro is very off but your chrods aren't very acurate in the second verse you'd know that if you'd have played it with the cd

Runnef - 2005-04-07

The Intro Is Way Off. This is what it really is.

E6 E5 E E5 Esus

I have the song book so I know it's right. This played in the first verse too.

irocc211 - 2005-04-14

there was a ver. of God of wounders (by Marc Byrd and Steve Hindalong) that was formatted great had the words and the notes and how 2 play the notes case u dont no how 2 play a certain note.

Fenderdude4chri - 2005-05-02

BlackAttack1287 - 2005-06-02

Umm....Fenderdude4chri, I believe that if I played your tab, I would be playing "Meant To Live" not "Dare You To Move".

guitarplayer67 - 2005-06-24

bro_in_christ - 2006-01-30

I'm sorry, but you guys have the intro all wrong. The correct intro is this:

Also, the song is done in power chords, just to point that out.

And as for the solo:

/ -slide
b -bend

If you have any questions about any other parts of the song, e-mail me @

God Bless.
