Intro: B - E (a few times)
Verse: B Abm E B - E B - E
Bridge: F# Abm E B
F# Abm E
Chorus: B E Abm E
B Abm E
B E Abm E
Abm F# E
Vamp: C#m E C#m E - B - E
It sounds more like the song if in the Into, instead of changing from B to E you just slide on the A string from the 4th fret to the 5th fret and back.
good job man! i was just messing around and i figured out this really cool way to play the intro...instead of doing a B to a regular E, do a B to a Eno3 (022400)...sounds kinda cool
This is kinda close, but if you put the Open Up the Gates CD into your computer and you can print out all the official chords along with the lyrics. (Hocksterrocker's thing sounds cool.)
Looking at it without the guitar in front it looks pretty close. If you play the CD along and try to sound like the guitar on the CD, you won't because they've recorded (and play it live like this also) 2 guitars over the top of each other. On the opening riff, one guitar plays a barred B on the 2nd fret and the E as an open chord, and the second guitar plays a barred B and E on the 7th fret.
