This is an awesome song by Jeremy Camp and I think it rocks in every way and
in every aspect (in my opinion), and I couldn't find a good tab for it
anywhere, so I sat down and did my best to figure it out.
It sounds pretty darn close, but there's probably one or two
things you might wanna change (like the strumming pattern... they stum a lot
but I didn't feel like typing every single time they hit the strings, and how
there's some scratching and such close to the end of the song). But you guys
are smart, you can figure it out on your own.
                       God's awsome, keep rockin!

sorry guys, i forgot... the verse is palm muted, but like i said before, y'all are smart

BCRichy - 2004-05-19

dude this tab is totally sweet but there are 2 g-tars in this song. So on the intro, chorus, and the outro theres a rythym g-tar strummin different notes but those parts are xtremely easy to figure out. But dude totally awsome and flawless tab.

snuggles839 - 2004-05-21

thanx dude, glad ya like it. it took me a while to get it all right so i'm glad at least someone likes it. rock on

snuggles839 - 2004-05-21

happy anniversary laura! I Love You!

frankierothe - 2004-06-11

This is an awesome tab, but is there a different tuning on the lead guitar. Cuz when I play this, I'm not getting that hard core sound on the C5 and Bb5. So if anyone knows, let me know please.
Peace!

Deevon07 - 2004-06-28

hey BCrichy-i saw them play this live and its only one guitar. Jeremy just sings it.

eddie_simmons03 - 2004-07-12

I really love this tab and am glad you took the time to do it.

mmggppmgp - 2004-07-16

HELP!!! i like this song and all i could play is the powa chords... i need help with the riff thing

JamminJosh - 2004-07-19

Hey Deevon07 - I also saw Jeremy play this in concert. He used two guitar players for it. This song can be played w/ just one guitar or two, I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun either way. This tab looks pretty good, I haven't had a chance to try it out yet though... Rock on!

___sonic - 2004-08-09

Awesome tabbing skills! It sounds perfect! How do you do it? :D

JohnM - 2004-08-30

I just saw this live, he does have 2 guitar players. But this song sounds fine with one, except maybe the bridge part (1 playing power chords, other playing the verse riff).

If you're having trouble with the verse riff, use this chord shape:
E-10
B-10
G-10
D-10
A-13
E-10

Then hammer your pinky on and off the 13th fret of the D string. Easy. :)

oh well, the important thing is the vibrato

snuggles839 - 2004-10-18

hey guys,
when i said i sat down and figured it out i real just sat down and made it easier to read ( put it in tab form instead of chord form) cuz it took me a while to figure it out with the chord form and i wanted to make it a little easier for everybody... so... just to clear that up. so i'm sorry if i ticked anyone off, i appologise for taking credit. thanx.
JESUS Loves You,
keep rockin'

snuggles839 - 2004-10-18

just to further clarify my last message... i didn't get it from a tab book, i tabbed out the other ones on the site that were in chord form and a little hard to figure out. so i apologize for my dishonesty, and i hope u guys will forgive me.

JESUS loves you,
keep rockin

skator521 - 2004-11-18

hey god job on the song but the intro is in octaves trust me i promise i just saw them live with building 429 and i saw them a while ago at promise keepers so i know

Jetix - 2005-03-23

Did you see them in Mt. Gilead? it was the first concert our church ever held. i was so stoked that they chose mt. gilead to kick off their tour!

teens4God7 - 2005-05-16

10-8
the verse is 8-10-8-10-8-10- 8-10-8-10 -10
8-10

That is it and it is for sure. In concert he mutes it sometimes 10-13, but on CDs and big events or fest he always does this I AM SURE. Jesus is my best friend. if ur Christian and want to know ur job go look up the band Pillar on the ,Where do we go from here, cd there is a song called Frontline. Psalm 23:4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God Bless

teens4God7 - 2005-05-16

u reapet verse twies just to let u know.

GuitarZero - 2005-06-09

Ok the chorus doesn't exactly sound right to me nor do the opening or closing and can someone explain to me what an octave is?? and btw im new to this so it could be my mistake

110%panhead - 2005-07-29

an octave is when you play a note and its twin either higher or lower (Like if you have a drop-d tuned guitar and you play the two D strings)

Godguitarist112 - 2005-09-07

hey guys I saw this song being played on the top ead strings

-10--8--6---4/6/4/6-----------------D
-10--8--6---4/6/4/6-----------------A
-8---6--4---2/4/2/4-----------------E

That is for the chorus part, it gives it a more harder sound

ROKNCountryBoy - 2006-01-24

ok on the bridge part goes like this:

3 3 3 3 5 6
3 3 3 3 5 6
1 1 1 1 3 4
there is not an A5 chord... just F, G, G#

bseg - 2006-03-03

I saw someone mentioned the octaves. If thats how you want to play it (that's how I play it, makes good contrast to the power chords) here:

Intro:
E ------------------------------------------------
B ------------------------------------------------
G -5--7--8--10------5--8--7-----------------------
D -x--x--x--x-------x--x--x--6--------------------
A -3--5--6--8-------3--6--5--6--------------------
E ---------------------------4--------------------

Chorus (2x):
E ----------------------------------------------------
B ----------------------------------------------------
G -5-5--3-3-----------------5--8--7-------------------
D -5-5--3-3--6-6--6-6--8-8--x--x--x--6-5-6-5----------
A -3-3--1-1--6-6--6-6--8-8--3--6--5--6-5-6-5----------
E -----------4-4--4-4--6-6-----------4-3-4-3----------

When octaves are played there is a strumming pattern; for the sake of space I only wrote each set once. Listen for timing. Great song, pretty easy to play too.

Sgt. Cupcake - 2006-09-04

I'm not sure if anyone has posted this....but the bridge is wrong....the entire tab is right other than that..

e|---------------------------
B|---------------------------
G|---------------------------
D|3--3--3--3-5--6~~----------
A|3--3--3--3-5--6~~----------
E|1--1--1--1-3--4~~----------

Thats all that is wrong....great song though

Represent JC!!!!

Sgt. Cupcake - 2006-09-04

Also I was just playing and at 1:02 its right after the chours and there is an artificial harmonic its

e|------------------------------------------------------------
B|------------------------------------------------------------
G|-------------------------------------------(10)---------------
D|----13-10-13-10-13-10----10-13-10-13-10-13--------------
A|----------------------13------------------------------------
E|------------------------------------------------------------

() Right there is the harmonic...I'm sure that you have heard it....anyway it makes it sound a lot cooler too...

JC is the Lord - 2007-04-25

You have a great skill in tabbing man. It sounds so awesome. But the chorus sounds heavier on the cd than on the tab. And u need two guitars to make it sound right but this is an awesome tab!!!

May God be with you

JC is the Lord - 2007-04-25

who is Laura by the way??

skilletrocks - 2007-05-14

if you play the intro this way it gives it a nice heavy sound.

G--5--------3------------------------------
D--5--------3--------6666666\5/6666666-----
A--3--------1--------6666666\5/6666666-----repeat
E--3--------1--------4444444\3/4444444-----

you'll have to play around with it in order to get the timeing right but these are the chords to use if you want the right/heavy sound.

skilletrocks - 2007-05-14

by the way I know that this song obviously has 2 guitars in it. the correction I just put up is only the lead and this guys tab is for the 2nd guitar.
