great song...i never get tired of it.....the tab is 100% accurate

Jesper - 2004-05-18

It's almost correct, but in the first and third line in the verse it is D/F# instead of Bm...

chelsyalbertson - 2004-07-21

Jesper, i have a question.
how do you explain how to play the chord D/F#?....i have never really understood it. thanks!

x_cell3 - 2004-08-09

Would someone (anyone) be able to email me this song with the words and tabs?? I guess it's some type of law you can't write them on this site or something but if u can email it to erika0290@hotmail.com thanks

GOTGZUS? - 2004-08-22

chelsy.. play a d chord on your guitar and use your thumb on the second fret low E string (thats where the F# comes in)

pup_on_drugs - 2004-08-24

the D/F# is easiest played as the following. Because the 4th step down from the D is a F#. Have fun with it.
e-2
B-3
G-2
D-4
A-X
E-X

steelstring - 2004-09-22

The bridge should be: G A G/B A/C# G A D (repeat)...bass notes make all the difference!

ChristainPepper - 2005-01-08

What key is this in? I am new so I am sorry.

Freestar007 - 2005-02-02

I believe the song is in the key of D.

J0sephYu - 2006-01-11

Just a tip.. I like to play D/F# a different way for a fuller sound (since playing four strings tends to sound empty).

D/F#
e 2
B 3
G 2
D 0
A 0
E 2

You can use your thumb to wrap around the neck to get that F# on the low E string, but you'll get used to it either way.

dacrocky - 2006-02-03

J0sephYu, thats how i was taught to do it as well. Laf i didnt even know there was another way. good to know. although i find the 2xx232 the easiest

bjlovelace - 2006-03-30

hey, i also like to play D/F# this way sometimes, i think it sounds better, cuz it actually makes it D2/F#. When you wrap your thumb around the neck to get the F#, make sure you use your thumb to also mute the A string. Playing all 6 strings with that open A washes out the low end F#, plus it makes the whole inverted and it sounds weird.

e 0
B 3
G 2
D 0
A X
E 2
