This is an easier, and more correct way to play the intro...

Try this for the acoustic guitar "riff" throughout the verse:
Capo on 2nd fret.
F#|-------------------------------------|
C#|------0-------0--------0-------0-----|
A |----3--3----3--3-3---3--3----3--3-3--|
E |---4-4--4--4-4--4---4-4--4--4-4--4---|
B |-------------------------------------|
F#|--0------2--------h4------0----------|
Use your middle finger for the A string and your pinky finger for the E string. These two fingers stay locked in that position. For the F# string; use your pointer finger for the 2nd fret and your ring finger for the 4th fret.
With these finger settings, all you need is some speed to your picking to play this riff real smooth and easy. Please tell me what you think of this version.
God Bless,
Daniel

Dani_Boy, that version is great!! yeah it takes some time to learn but it is almost perfect when played along with the song.
