Well, I think that's it, but Jon's always got some wicked stuff going on.
This was my first tab. I tried to be specific. Feel free to change open
into barred chords. I also have a bad tendency to think things are an
octave higher (or lower) than they actually are.

rock on!!! - 2004-08-03

can anyone change this into just chords and bar chords instead od powere chords?

mmggppmgp - 2004-08-25

yo dude powa chords r basically barre chords but.... u basically just strum top 3 and top 4 strings.... to avoid all the junk from the higher tone strings

clew - 2004-10-12

i dont know the ska chords ...what are they..thx caleb

grizzard - 2004-10-20

ska style of playing is mute the downstroke play the upstroke (like sublime or Five Iron Frenzy). so ska chords to me means play the Bar Chords ska style. I'm pretty sure that part of the song isn't right, but i'm still not sure what it is :) anyway, hope that helped

grizzard - 2004-12-01

i think i finally figure out the real intro chords!
E(sus2) | C#m
x x 9 9 7 7 | x x 11 9 9 9

yay.

For a more acoustic or funkier feel and if you want to put a bass line on the guitar try
[E] [c#m7]
e -------0------
b -------0------
g -------9--9--9
d -------9--9--9
a -------7--0--m
e -0--0-----9--7

Rhythm is not expressed to clearly but play with it, if you got flexible fingers you can make the 9 to 7 on the bass e a slide.

Let me know if this works for as a 1 man acoustic version.
