Ok this is like a really brilliant song i love it so i tabbed it out.
It's fairly simple for the most part. If i give a chord over a chord it
means the bass guitar plays the second chord so guitarists dont worry about
it ok?

Also if i put words in parentheses after a chord it means you start playing
the chord when he says those words.

Intro:    G     G7/F     C/E      Cm/Eb

Intro (keyboard part): ("/" means slide)

e----7---8---10-7--( 3x ->)---8p7-------------
B--8---8-----------(then->)-------10p8-10/12--

Verses:
Just play the Intro guitar part twice

Chorus: C (Jeff...) G (But I...) [play all that 2x]

Chorus (guitar harmony on "open all the windows"): G--5--4-5-7-5-4--

Post Chorus: play staccato

C    Bm    Am    D  G
C    Bm    Am    D     G(let ring)

Play Intro
Play Verse 2
Play Chorus
Play Post Chorus 2x

sounds good but the tunings wrong. in the interview on this site thiessen said they tune the A string to a G. otherwise its great

Timay21 - 2004-05-29

yep, a string is in g tuning. which changes the chords completely

Handsome - 2004-06-22

For the bridge part you have A and D in there... those chords would be right, but they are in the wrong key. The chords should be D instead of A and G instead of D.

stevo_1515 - 2004-09-18

the tuning is
e
b
g
d
G
D

mtlmouth - 2005-07-26

Hey, what am I supposed to play on "cause when it's colder, I feel much better..."? I know it lists a post-chorus, but I was thinking that was "and I'll go to undergo a surgery...", which sounds right with those chords... but the C, G chorus doesn't work for that line. :-/
