Title: The Castle's Call
Album: The Master and The Musician
Transcribed by: Phil Schwan
A great short piece done by Phil on one of his earliest albums. This is
a great piece to play just to warm up the fingers a little.
First time:
-------7--5-7-4-0--2-3p2-0---0-2-4p2-0-----0------0--------------------------
---------------------------2------------3----0--3---0------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-0---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Next two times:
-------7--5-7-4-0--2-3p2-0---0-2-4-2-0-----0------0--------------------------
---------------------------2------------3----0--3---0------------------------
-------9--7---5----4-------3---2---1----2----1--2---1------------------------
----------------------------------------3----2--3---2------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-0---------------------------------------------------------------------------
End run:
------------*----------------------------------------------------------------
----0-------*----0-----------------------------------------------------------
---1--3---1-*---1--3---1-----------------------------------------------------
--2---------*--2-----------2-------------------------------------------------
-2----------*-2----------------2---------------------------------------------
------------*----------------------------------------------------------------
The low E at the beginning of the first two sections should be struck well
and let to sound throughout the section.
The end run is nothing but a regular E chord and you pick up the extra
note with your pinky. The * represents the accompanying flute playing
the same line.
