Y DOES EVERY TAB SAY THE CHORDS ARE E5 OR W/E???? FREAKIN, THE BASS IS PLAYING F# THROUGH OUT THE VERSE AND INTRO!!! WHEN I'VE BUT THE FIRST CHORD WITH WHAT THE BASS PLAYS IT DOES NOT SOUND HARMONIZED AT ALL! EVERYWHERE I LOOK ALL THE TABS ARE THE SAME! SAME PROGRESSION AND YET THE BASS PLAYS AN F#! HOW DO I KNOW MY BASS ISN'T DETUNED? I PLAY WITH A TUNER PLUGGED TO MY AMP & I ALSO PUT IT ON GUITAR PRO AND ITS AN F#! SO CAN'T ANY1 FIX THIS ERROR?

Ummm, I dont think the basss plays an F, you may be right, but im a bass player learning to play guitar and I have music where is says C, not F... but theres a chance you may be right.

Bass doesn't always have to play what the guitar is playing. but it depends on the key your playing it in. i play the song in the key of D , so the first chord on guitar is D so it'll go like

open the eyes of my heart lord
A
Open the eyes of my heart
G
I want to see you
D
I want to see you

but, thats how me and my friends play it. :D hope that helps, so bass could play D A G D.
