|this is the correct version (the last bit of the chorus was wrong in the
old one) plus the bridge|
*note - it is easier to play this in E but SCC plays it a half step down so
if you want to play along with the CD you can either tune down (EbAbDbGbBbeb)
or play the chords in parentheses (key of D) with capo 1.
verses:
E(D) Emaj7(Dmaj7) C#m(Bm) A(G) B(A)
prechorus:
C(Bb) D(C) C(Bb) B(A)
chorus:
E(D) B(A) C#m(Bm) A(G)
E(D) B(A) B(A) C#m(Bm) B(A) A(G)
E(D) B(A) C#m(Bm) A(G)
C#m(Bm) C(Bb) D(C) *E(D)
*the second time he sings the chorus, he plays a C and D (listen to the CD)
instead of playing the E before going into the bridge.
bridge:
play C 035500 D 057700 E 079900
slide from the first chord to the second
D(C) E(D) (3x) C(Bb)
the last part ("you are everything to me") he only plays D to E twice and
then plays a C and D - again, listen to the CD.
