Group: Caedmon's Call Album: "My Calm//Your Storm" Song Title: "There's A Stirring" By: Annie Herring More tab available at http://www.t-rev.net The lead guitar in this song, the one playing the intricate picking, is Derek's. It is tuned to DGDGAD (that's a drop Gsus2, btw). It is capoed at the 2nd fret. I will not list that part, though, as Derek and I don't want to encourage people to try the tuning; guitar strings are prone to break at that, and we don't wanna cause that! :-( Cliff's part is a simpler part in D, on a standard tuned guitar capoed at the 2nd fret (which means the song is really in A). I will list is in its entirety. Cliff: (Capo 2, all chords relative to capo) Intro: (Alt. Tuned guitar) Verse: G G G G G G G G G G G G Bridge: C D G G C D G G G G Chorus: G D Em C G C G C G D C Interlude: Strum G ------- And then the entire song is repeated. I know it looks easy; it is! If you just strum cleanly, and throw in a little picking on the high strings, this song is really nice. It's as easy as that! ------------------ Chord Signatures: ------------------ Cliff: (all given relative to capo) E|-3---0---2---0--- B|-3---1---3---0--- G|-0---0---2---0--- D|-0---2---0---2--- A|-2---3---x---2--- e|-3--(3)--x---0--- G C D Em -------------------- Brett bdm@falcon.cy-net.net Written by Annie Herring.
