This is a really great worship song... I figured out the chords on my
keyboard, so for guitar you might have ideas to spice it up, because
these are just the simple basic chords... have fun!
hey this is a great tab but a few tips
1. you need to make sure you change pretty quickly to a D after the G in the holy holy part
2.it helps to change to an em RIGHT after the Here in will you meet us here.
3. the bridge itsnt right and i cant figue out whats wrong.
this is agreat song by a great band keeep on strummin
><>
G D
As we lift up our hands, as we call on your name,
D
Will you visit this place, by your mercy and grace.
Also: if when you do the bridge the strum pattern looks like this:
G | D | | | | |
As we lift up our hands, as we call on your name,
D | | | | |
Will you visit this place, by your mer-cy and grace.
also the "concert ending" is strumming the top 2 base notes of the chorus
chords while softly singing the chorus also strum it rapidly
4 strums per beat.

what's wrong with the bridge is that it goes:
G D C G
As we lift up our hands, as we call on your name,
D C G
Will you visit this place, by your mer-cy and grace.
Also: if when you do the bridge the strum pattern looks like this:
G | D | | | C | G |
As we lift up our hands, as we call on your name,
D | | | C | G |
Will you visit this place, by your mer-cy and grace.
also the "concert ending" is strumming the top 2 base notes of the chorus
chords while softly singing the chorus also strum it rapidly
4 strums per beat.
I think that the C at the end of the lines on the bridge is irrelevant. It sounds fine just playing the D and then holding out the G till the next line.
Hey guys,
all these ways to play it are nice, but we all probably play in different styles and different ways anyway. so there really isn't any need to correct all the time to the perfect way to play it. I know, as a guitar player, I tend to change stuff a bit myself and it sounds fine either way but i like it my way. anyway thanks for all the help on this song. this song and He reigns are really powerful songs. make your bones shake type songs. anyway keep tabbing.
Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost that's the Kingdom of God!
i'm a bit late on this one, but i only just saw this tab and the original bridge is almost right. the chords for the bridge are the same as the chorus - the only difference between bridge & chorus is the strum pattern.
Strum pattern ... i can't describe it now (food calls) but its accented on beats 1 and 2 1/2. (just before the 3rd beat) Listen to the song (either the adoration or thrive version) and you'll get it by playing along.
Learn the song, then make it yours! you dont have to play it EXACTLY the same!!
