with a capo but i dont really remember where the capo goes...

I don't think that you have to tune your strings down a half step. I tried the same chords out with the song, with standard tuning, and it seemed fine. One other thing, the bridge is different. It goes E A2 C#m then it goes to C |035500|. Then on the second time around, it goes from the C to F# open. F#open |244300|. Then from there, it goes into G#open. |466500|. Hope this helps. Its a little confusing.
