Finish with the Intro at the end...outro?
The tuning is meant for an Acoustic guitar. If you play it on electic, you can
reach 14th fret and move everything up two frets. I think...!
I was totally wrong about the 14th fret thing. If you watch the video on barlowgirl.com I have the tabs totally wrong but I don't know why because it sounds the same. Someone enlighten me.
These tabs are power chords. The number symbolizes the fret. You read tabs from left to right. From the top down in the string: Your high e, then B, and so on till you reach the bottom, your low E and your top string. The 'x' means that string is muted. This is my first tab so the setup is not exactly correct. Here's an example:
--x--
--x--
--x--
--7--
--7--
--9--
The three x's are muted, your high e, B, and G strings. The two 7's are your A and D string is the seventh fret, and the 9 is the low E string in the ninth fret. I hope that is clear enough!
You have to change the tuning of your guitar, yes. The regular tuning is (I'm sure you know this but I'll put it here anyways!) EADGBe That is from low to high. The tuning of this song is one whole tone lower DGCFAd. I hope that helps.
Even with an electric guitar, you have to tune it different, but if you don't like to tune it down everytime you play it, don't do the D-0-0's and move everything two frets down. It's what I do...
