Pretty good tab. Props. Rythm leaves some to be desired on some parts, but over all, good.

Yeah, for some reason the rythem verse doesn't sound right. That chord in the verse is supposed to be a C. When I play this song, I play in standard, so I play the chords like this.

Kinda gives the notes a deeper sound. And it sounds like the song to. If you wanted to play those types of chords in D, then you would move the low E up two frets.

It sounds perfectly fine, so you must just be playing it wrong.
