play the same thing twice, they have some basic riffs but they do a whole lot
of different variations of them, so i'm gonna tab the basic stuff and leave

just some comments on my own tab those are 1's in the verse not 11's and in the solo riff it should say 7h8p7 not 7h8p8 cause that just doesn't make any sense

What tuning is this in? I see that the strings are labeled in Drop D, but I know that some people just do that, even though its in another tuning. The reason I'm asking is because most Staple songs are in Drop C.

nah its played in drop d, i mean you could play in in drop c if u want u'd just have to adjust a lot of stuff

Actually dude it is in Drop C. I'm sorry but this tab is wrong...I only say this because just today i finished tabbing the song and submitted it. I didn't see urs here, maybe it just got posted today. I've got the whole song though, solos, verses, chorus, completely accurate so i know it's in drop C. You've got some of it right, you're in the right key. But hopefully Symbiotic (admin) will post the one i submitted today. I think you'll find it fits a little better.

when i said its played in drop d i was referring to my tab, not the way staple actually plays it. i'm sure it is played in drop c by them, thats just their style. but for convinients sake i leave it as drop d. and i think the notes are fairly accurate although the placement would obviously be different for drop c. play it how u like as long as it sounds the same.

no, that's what i'm saying man, regardless of the tuning for the most part you're in the right key, but there are a few parts that are just off. my tab is up now, try that and let me know what you think.
