Drop C# Tuning
C# G# C# F# A# d#
Intro: (This isn't perfect, but it's enough to get ya started)
Guitar 1 (Medium Distortion)
F# D E D E
d# [-------------------------------------------------------------]
A# [---6/8-------------------------6/8---------------------------]
F# [-7---------------------------7---------------7-7 ~ ----------]
C# [-------------------------------------------------------------] x 2
G# [-------------------------------------------------------------]
C# [-------------------------------------------------------------]
Guitar 2 (Distortion and Chorus)
F# D E D E
d# [-------------------------------------------------------------]
A# [-------------------------------------------------------------]
F# [----------------------------------222-0----------------------]
C# [---------8-8-7-5-5-5----3/5 53-------0-------3/5\3-----------] x 2
G# [-------5--5-----5--------------------------------------------]
C# [------5-----------5-5\1---------33-------1-1-----------------]
For the verse, just hit and miss with the intro riffs, and add the
Acoustic Guitar part that I've listed at the bottom if you desire.
Chorus
F# E D E F# D E
d# [--xxxxxxxx--xxxxxxxx--xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xx-xx-------------------]
A# [--xxxxxxxx--xxxxxxxx--xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xx-xx-------------------]
F# [--xxxxxxxx--xxxxxxxx--xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xx-xx-------------------]
C# [--55555555--33333333--1111-3333-5555-11-33-------------------]
G# [--55555555--33333333--1111-3333-5555-11-33-------------------]
C# [--55555555--33333333--1111-3333-5555-11-33-------------------]
This is the Acoustic Guitar part I've added for extra fullness. It
seems that I can hear some light strumming of an acoustic in their
recording anyhow, so use it if you wish.
Capo on 3, Tune 1/2 Step down
Chord formations: (These aren't the actual Chord Names)
Em C D

A# [--0---1---3--]

Verse:

Chorus:

This is not 100% perfect, but it's extremely close. I've only heard
the song 3 or 4 times, and I don't have the CD to sit down with and
work everything out perfectly. God Bless and enjoy, Rob.

I know you said its not perfect but even with the good job you did the 2nd guitars intro part is confusing me because im hearing something different and i think theres more. I'm not a great tab guy so I wouldnt know how to pick out what it is, but hopefully more people have stuff to add, thanks

You can play this song in regular tuning. Chords are F#m D E on the verses and F#m E D on the choruses.
KutlessRocks842 - 2005-05-04
The second guitar part sounds almost 100% right. It sounds like theres a little bit missing but good job on the the tab.
All4Him0687 - 2005-05-16
Great Tab, if you dont want to do the whole drop C# tuning thing you can just
put a capo on the 2nd fret:
1 verse:
Em C D Em D
Em C D Em D
and the chorus ive just started workin on, but it sounds pretty close to the
cd to me
ryan_grooms22 - 2005-05-18

For standard tuning this is pretty much the meat of the song.

Hello,
I found that if I put a capo on 2nd fret and play the following, it matches quite well. I plan on playing this duet, one accoustic and another electric with effect at my church for solos. This song is a great testimony to thos who don't know of the Old Testament Tabernacle and how it is laid out in the form of a cross and portrays the stature in Christ.
Verse:
Em
C
D
Em D

Chorus:
Em D
C Am Em
Em D
C D Em
thirdday123 - 2005-07-13
please correct me if im wrong but the two comments before me both say the same chords but one says with a capo and the other in standard tuning so how can that be thanks
praise_habit - 2005-07-25
For the acoustic part, did anyone else find that Cadd9 (x32033) works better than a standard C? I'm certifiably tone-deaf, so I'm just looking for some opinions.
BenPuttGuitar - 2005-09-14
I think you guys are correct except in the chorus, I think it was:
Em Am
C G Em
Em Am
G D Em
I don't know if that's how they play it but that's how it sounds right to play.

Does anyone know the fingerings to F#?
guitarlizzie - 2005-09-18
Never mind. :)

I'm new to this (and correct me if i'm wrong) but couldn't you just put a capo on the 1st fret instead of tuning down and then adding the capo?
