i wanted to get this tab on here cuz ive noticed that there is no flyleaf tabs.
this is an amazing band and "cassie" is one the best songs on the ep. its about
the tragedy at columbine and how one girl stood up for what she beleived in no
matter what.
all power chords
standard tuning
h-means hammer on
intro: (i will say.........)A-A#-G-A-AhA#
Vs.: same as abovebut only use the low E string or play palm muted chords
chorus:A-C-G-E
Bridge:(some wierd distortion)strum once or finger pick chords A-C-G-E
thats it. please post any corrections
Umm...I'm just a lil' confused...could you retype it er somthing to have it with just the chords and no words er something? it's cool if you can't though...
Yeah thats pretty much right... umm the guitar doesnt play the chords on the bridge, thats only the bass... both guitars play some sorta solo type thing with the chorus...
AhA# ? How do you hammmer on if you say it's in standard tuning?
Okay, good work on the chords. The riff is right, the verse is right and so is almost the chorus too. The last chord of the chorus is not an E, it is an F.
The verse by the way is played like the riff on one string, as you said, but it is not palm muted in any way. Theat's the Lead Guitar. The Rhythm Guitar plays a palm muted low D# chord at someplaces, so that proves the tuning is DROP D for this song. The riff is also a bit easier to play that way.
Bassman is right, they play some solo thing in the bridge with both guitars, no chords or chord finger picking. I don't hear any solo thing with the chorus though. Again, good job!
Just adding my 5 cent to this song, but to those who play/play along with this song or whatever, i personally thought it added a little bit of an extra "kick" to the song if at the end (when there's an echo'd "do you believe", the 3rd and 4th time she sings the chorus) the bass, or maybe one of the electrics, or something, goes back to the intro riff
(E | - 5 - 6 - 3 - 5 - 3 - 5h6)
and plays that 3 times, and then ends with the rest of the guitars on the F.
Just somethin to play around with, it's atleast worth a shot
This isn't a correction but in the original version she saids that both Cassie and Rachel pulled the trigger (and Rachel pulled the...) (and Cassie pulled the...)
